Hi Adrian, My office is with the Department of Justice of the newest territory in Canada--Nunavut. So it's in the public service, in the area of trusts and estates, I am not allowed to do private practice. I had to attend the University of Manitoba to obtain accreditation of my law degree from U.P. Then, I had to take the Manitoba bar. I became a member of the Nunavut bar through my membership in the Manitoba bar.

Thanks. For reference, I think the implementation of the POEA Circulation has been suspended for professionals going to Italy, Hong Kong ... and another place which escapes me at the moment. I think if they can suspend it for these 3 places, then why not suspend it for all until everything is clarified?

Panero, I got the impression from the posts here that you're politically affiliated somehow :) [correct me if I got the wrong impression] I was wondering if there are any plans from your party's end to file a petition Or a position paper with GMA to suspend the implementation of POEA Mem Circ 04-2007 until pertinent OFW groups' sentiments are heard on the matter, especially this now infamous US$5,000 bond?

If you have contacts in the HR or Senate, perhaps pwede ding mag-umpisa ng legislative hearings on the matter, to ensure that better legislation is passed to protect the welfare of the OFWs?
